Global Missions

Paulo & Iveli Diniz

After 45 years of ministry working at Auaris, a Yanomami jungle station, Paulo and Iveli now live near Boa Vista where they each interpret for the Sanumá people coming for medical treatment. In the city, they participate in several church events and visit hospitalized Sanumá, where they also act as interpreters. Iveli visits Sanumá women in particular who are in the hospital and the Indian House (a type of medical facility capable of care, less than that offered by the hospital, but where Indians may also get food and lodging). Paulo and Iveli are thankful for the prospect of less government hindering of missionary work in general due to the results of recent national elections.
