Giving At Black Rock
Why We Give
Cheerful and sacrificial giving of our finances is part of our worship. As a church, we want to help you understand and apply God’s principles of handling money. In all things, we are called to live to glorify God, and one of the primary ways we do this is by cheerfully giving to God. We call our members and attendees to give, not just to obey a set of rules, but to follow the example of our Savior, who sacrificed everything for us, and now calls us to do the same.
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Your Personal Finances
We all need a plan for our finances. Leaving a healthy financial lifestyle does not just happen, it takes time, intentionality, and direction. At Black Rock, we offer a 9-week seminar based on the Financial Peace University curriculum by Dave Ramsey. This program will equip you to handle your current financial situation and plan for a more secure tomorrow.
