Director of Traditional Worship & Director of Community Lifeoffice: 203.255.3401 Ext. 129
I came to Connecticut in 2005 after spending several years in North Carolina where I met my wife Gabby while we were studying at UNC-Chapel Hill (go Heels!). I grew up in a ministry-oriented family in the Appalachian Mountains of southeastern Kentucky where my parents work in full-time ministry. From a young age it was clear God had blessed me with musical talents which I utilized and developed throughout high school and college focusing primarily on piano. I have been involved with church music in various capacities in Kentucky, North Carolina and now at Black Rock where I serve as the Director of Traditional Worship. In this role I use my background in classical music and worship to direct and lead our traditional services, working with the choir, instrumentalists and other elements of the historic church tradition. Gabby and I live in Stamford and are the proud parents of a daughter named Elsie and a son named Owen. We enjoy cheering for the Tar Heels and the Red Sox, biking around town, and my attempts at gourmet home-cooking.
