I am a woman who loves Jesus and yearns to see a church, regardless of generation, encounter the love of God and unite in worship as one. I grew up in NY as the daughter of a pastor and one of eleven children in a musical home full of spontaneous singing and tons of instruments. At an early age I found a burning passion to lead others in worship and truly desire to help others take hold of their identity in Christ, by pursuing a relationship with him above all else. After graduating from Fairfield University with a degree in Economics, I searched for a Christ-loving community and happily stumbled upon Black Rock in 1997. I have been part of the worship ministry staff as a Worship Leader since 2006 and in May 2014, became the Director of Contemporary Worship and Creative Arts. I live in Westport, CT with my Norwegian husband Olav, my three children: Andreas, Hanna and Steffen and two dogs. When I am not doing musical things I love to take photos, swim, and cook healthy foods.
