I was brought up in Milford, Connecticut, and graduated from Barrington College. I spent 6 years in the Air Force as a captain (I flew a desk!). I graduated from Gordon Conwell Seminary and served at College Church in Wheaton, Illinois, from 1975-1996 as Executive and Missions Pastor. In January 1997, I was called to Black Rock Church where I am currently the Executive/Missions Pastor.
I enjoy playing sports (I am an old basketball player!), reading theology and history (especially Civil War), and am an avid (if not very proficient) sailor. I am married to Susan who is a pediatrician, theatrical director and biology teacher. We have three children: Kimya, who is married to Joel Knecht, David, who is married to Kate, and Amy, who is married to Ronnie Vales. I have a passion for Global Missions and teaching God's Word.
